DeductIt is a web-based application designed to help users track charitable donations for tax deduction purposes. The Service allows you to:

• Record and organize charitable donations
• Track donation values and dates
• Manage household sharing for collaborative tracking
• Export donation records for tax purposes

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate and complete information when using the Service
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

3.2 Accurate Record Keeping

• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of donation records you enter
• The Service provides tools for tracking, but does not verify donation values or tax-deductibility
• You should retain original receipts and documentation as required by tax authorities

4. Tax Advice Disclaimer

DeductIt does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice. The Service is a record-keeping tool only. You should consult with qualified tax professionals regarding:

• Tax-deductibility of specific donations
• Proper valuation of donated items
• Compliance with IRS or other tax authority requirements
• Any tax-related questions or concerns

5. Household Sharing

When you share your household with other users: - All members can view and edit shared donation records - You are responsible for managing access and permissions appropriately - You should only share with trusted individuals

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Fair Market Value Data

The Service may provide suggested fair market value ranges for donated items. These values: - Are general guidelines only and should not be considered authoritative - May be based on third-party sources - Should be verified independently - Are your responsibility to determine accurately for tax purposes

8. Subscriptions and Payments

8.1 Subscription Tiers

DeductIt offers the following subscription tiers:

• Basic — Free, with core donation tracking features
• Supporter — Monthly, annual, or lifetime subscription with additional features including photo attachments and charity lookup
• Pro — Monthly, annual, or lifetime subscription with all features including voice dictation and family sharing

8.2 Auto-Renewal

Monthly and annual subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

8.3 Managing and Canceling Subscriptions

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time:

• iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → DeductIt
• Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → DeductIt
• Web: Through your account settings

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that date.

8.4 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) according to their respective refund policies. For web subscriptions, please contact support.

8.5 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will not affect your current subscription period but will apply upon renewal. We will provide notice of price changes in advance.

9. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to: - Modify or discontinue the Service at any time - Change these Terms of Service with or without notice - Refuse service to anyone for any reason

10. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not liable for any tax penalties, audits, or issues arising from your use of the Service
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service (if any)

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DeductIt and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from: - Your use of the Service - Your violation of these Terms - Your violation of any third-party rights

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
